The Scandinavian composite (or Aluclad) window has set itself apart when it comes to a reputation for quality and performance, benefiting from an engineered timber profile internally and a maintenance free aluminium clad externally. Our double glazed AS21 and triple glazed AS3 window systems proudly offer all the accreditation's one would expect from a high performance Scandinavian window system. Both are available in various outward and inward opening configurations and will be designed to match your exact specifications. Both the Scandinavian AS21 and AS3 are suitable for private, domestic and commercial environments and we are able to supply a wide range of matching sliding doors and entrance doors for full project satisfaction. Whether you choose outward or inward opening you will be guaranteed against high humidity, dry conditions, severe rain and extreme temperatures.

  • AS2 doors available with a contemporary square profile or a traditional beaded profile internally.

Officially tested and certified to ensure they really do keep bad weather outside. 

Scandinavian AS2 - Double glazed

  • Centre pane of 1.0W/m2K = Overall U-Value of 1.2W/m2K.
  • Resistance to wind load Class 5C (EN 12210:2001).
  • Water tightness E1200 (EN 12208:2001).
  • Air permeability Class 4 (EN 12207:2000)
  • Acoustic performance tested at Rw=33dB. Further upgrades available.

Scandinavian AS3 - Triple glazed

  • Centre pane of 0.6W/m2K = Overall U-Value of 0.97W/m2K.
  • Resistance to wind load Class A3 (EN 12210:2001).
  • Water tightness 3A (EN 12207:2000).
  • Air permeability Class 4 (EN 12207:2000).
  • Acoustic performance tested at Rw=34dB. Further upgrades available.

A good U-Value does not mean a door keeps out the wind and the rain. Make sure you check out a doors weather test results before you buy.

Side hung window

  • AS2 Double glazed - Min height of 524mm.
  • AS3 Triple glazed - Max casement weight 50 kg. Max opening casement WxH = 900 x 1600 mm
  • Available as a double casement French window without a mullion
  • Suitable for fire escape openings.

Side projecting window

  • AS2 Double glazed - Max height 1600mm
  • AS3 Triple glazed - Max casement weight 50 kg. Max opening casement WxH = 800 x 1600 mm.
  • Concealed hinges to provide a modern look and increased security.
  • The casement projects to enable access for easy cleaning from inside.
  • Also available as a double casement French window without a mullion.
  • Available as an inward opening window.

Top projecting window

  • AS2 Double glazed - Up to 1.84m2.
  • AS3 Triple glazed - Max casement weight 60 kg. Max opening casement WxH = 1500 x 1500 mm.
  • Concealed hinges to provide a modern look and increased security.
  • The casement projects to enable access for easy cleaning from inside.
  • Suitable for fire escape openings.

Top swing window

  • AS2 Double glazed - Up to 2.05m2.
  • AS3 Triple glazed - Max casement weight 60 kg. Max opening casement WxH = 1588 x 1558 mm.
  • Ideal for maximum glass area and light.
  • Concealed hinges To provide a modern look and increased security.
  • The casement rotates by 180° to enable easy cleaning from inside, ideal for flats or high applications.

Fixed windows

  • Capable of large sizes.
  • Raked heads, triangular and circular windows available.

Tilt & turn window (Inward opening only)

  • Traditional side hung window plus the tilt position for greater ventilation.
  • Also available as a double casement French window without a mullion.
  • Tilt only option available.

 All frames are available with a choice of transoms, mullions, glazing bars, insulated panels and various sills.

Frames

  • Class A1-A3 engineered slow grown timber - No wood knots, no visible finger joints.
  • All timber parts are vacum impregnated using GORI treatment prior to finishing.
  • Aluminium clad externally finished in any RAL colour.
