Pas 24 and SBD

The Sunflex SAL Slim and SEF aluminium window systems are very similar in appearance. Designed to compliment our range of bifold doors, sliding doors and entrance doors for complete project satisfaction these systems are available in a wide range of configurations. Whilst both systems share a contemporary style and slim line frame with square edge beads they offer different levels of specification to ensure we are able to tailor to all types of projects and requirements.

SAL Slim

28mm glazed unit accomodated.
Available as Side-hung, top-hung and fixed frame.
Glass to glass corners option.
Glazed with a centre pane of 1.2W/m²K = overall U-Value of 1.8W/m²K.
Glazed with a centre pane of 1.0W/m²K = overall U-Value of 1.6W/m²K.
Glazed with a centre pane of 0.7W/m²K = overall U-Value of 1.4W/m²K.
Frame depth of 53mm.

SEF

Up to 48mm glazed unit accomodated.
Available as Side-hung, top-hung, tilt and turn, fixed frames and angled frames.
Glass to glass corners option.
Glazed with a centre pane of 1.2W/m²K = overall U-Value of 1.5W/m²K.
Glazed with a centre pane of 1.0W/m²K = overall U-Value of 1.4W/m²K.
Glazed with a centre pane of 0.7W/m²K = overall U-Value of 1.2W/m²K.
Frame depth of 65mm or 99mm.

Sunflex SAL Window

1.2W/m²K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.8W/m²K.
1.0W/m²K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.6W/m²K.
0.7W/m²K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.4W/m²K.
Accommodates glazed unit thicknesses of 28mm.

Sunflex SEF Window

1.2W/m²K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.5W/m²K.
1.0W/m²K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.4W/m²K.
0.7W/m²K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.2W/m²K.
Accommodates glazed unit thicknesses of 28mm.

Both systems offer

Security tested to BS 7950:1997.
Weather tested to BS6375 Part 1:2009.
Acoustic performance tested at Rw=36dB. Further upgrades available.
Water tightness 900Pa (Class E).
Air permeability 600Pa (Class 4).
Resistance to wind load 2400Pa (Class AE).
EPDM gaskets. Offering a long life weather tight seal.

A good U-Value does not mean a door keeps out the wind and the rain. Make sure you check out a doors weather test results before you buy.

High Security

Secured by Design certified. Designed and manufactured to police preferred specification.
Security tested to BS 7950:1997 enhanced security performance.
Key locking handles are fitted as standard to our windows unless the window is classed as a means of escape, when a non-lockable version will be used.
Restrictors are available and can be fitted to windows at high level for safety.
Internally glazed where configuration permits, preventing the glass being easily removed from the outside.
Concealed hinges and locking mechanisms.
Slim gasket between panels to help against panels been levered apart by potential intruders.
Toughened safety glass, laminated security glass, solar control glass and many other specs available.

Five standard frame colours, Silver Anodised EV1, or in semi-gloss: Anthracite Grey RAL 7016, Grey Aluminium RAL 9007, White Aluminium RAL 9006, Traffic White RAL 9016.
Choose from over 200 frame colours available including brushed steel, textured, woodgrain and extreme marine protection.
Dual colour finish available (different internal and external colours).

Marine and swimming pool environment finishes

We recommend a marine treatment if you are within 5000 metres of the coast or around a swimming pool/chemical environment. Stainless steel handles would not be suitable for this location.
