The Sunflex SEF aluminium door system compliments our range of aluminium windows, bifold doors and sliding doors for complete project satisfaction. Whilst both systems share a contemporary style and slim line frame with square edge beads they offer different levels of specification to ensure we are able to tailor to all types of projects and requirements.

- Max width single door 1200mm.
- Max width double door 2400mm.

- 48mm glazed unit accommodated.
- Glazed with a centre pane of 1.0W/m2K = overall U-Value of 1.1W/m2K.
- Glazed with a centre pane of 0.7W/m2K = overall U-Value of 1.4W/m2K.
- 65mm frame depths.

Sunflex SAL Door
- 1.2W/m2K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.8W/m2K.
- 1.0W/m2K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.6W/m2K.
- 0.7W/m2K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.4W/m2K.
- Accommodates glazed unit thicknesses of 28mm.
Sunflex SEF Door
- 1.2W/m2K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.5W/m2K.
- 1.0W/m2K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.4W/m2K.
- 0.7W/m2K centre pane U-Value = Overall frame and glass 1.2W/m2K.
- Accommodates glazed unit thicknesses of 28mm.
Both systems offer
- Weather tested to BS6375 Part 1:2009.
- Acoustic performance tested at Rw=36dB. Further upgrades available.
- Water tightness 600Pa (Class E).
- Air permeability 600Pa (Class 4).
- Resistance to wind load 1200Pa (Class AE).
- EPDM gaskets. Offering a long life weather tight seal.
A good U-Value does not mean a door keeps out the wind and the rain. Make sure you check out a doors weather test results before you buy.
High Security
- Secured by Design certified. Designed and manufactured to police preferred specification.
- Security tested to BS 7950:1997 enhanced security performance.
- Single door has a horizontal handle operating a five multipoint locking system incorporating a central latch, Espag and hook locking. Secured by a five-lever Euro profile cylinder complying to BS3621 and British insurance requirements.
- French door has a horizontal handle on the master door operating a five-point locking system incorporating a central latch, Espag and hook locking. Secured by a five-lever Euro profile cylinder complying to BS3621 and British insurance requirements. Slave door appearance is kept neat without a handle as it is secured via hidden top and bottom finger bolts.
- If not required ask for no key lock to the outside of the doors. Offers the doors a cleaner look externally and less opportunity for any potential burglar.
- Internally glazed as standard preventing the glass being easily removed from the outside.
- Toughened glass used as standard.
- Laminated security glass and specialist specifications optional.

Frames
- Three standard frame colours in semi-gloss anthracite grey RAL 7016, matt black RAL 9011 and semi-gloss traffic white RAL 9016.
- Choose from over 200 frame colours available including brushed steel, textured, woodgrain and extreme marine protection.
- Stylish handle furniture supplied colour matched to the frame or stainless steel. Standard handle colours are in semi-gloss anthracite grey RAL 7016 and traffic white RAL 9016.
- Dual colour finish available (different internal and external colours).
Marine and swimming pool environment finishes
- We recommend a marine treatment if you are within 5000 metres of the coast or around a swimming pool/chemical environment. Stainless steel handles would not be suitable for this location.
